Dr Shintaro Chiba graduated from the Jikei University School Of Medicine and completed his training in Otorhinolaryngology. He is currently the director of Ota Memorial Sleep Center in Kanagawa, Japan and Professor of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the Jikei University School Of Medicine. Dr Chiba also holds appointments in the Japanese Surgical Sleep Society as the President and is part of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Furthermore, Dr Chiba is actively involved in publishing extensive research on Obstructive Sleep Apnoea, Sleep breathing disorders and upper airway obstruction patterns.
