Dr Leonard Soh is a Consultant in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He specialises in managing a wide range of ENT (ear, nose, and throat) conditions, with a particular focus on sleep disorders such as snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea.
Dr Soh graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2012. He completed his Otolaryngology residency under the SingHealth programme and earned both a Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) from Edinburgh, UK, and a Master of Medicine in Otolaryngology (MMed ORL) from NUS.
His expertise span allergy, sinus disorders, hearing disorders, and head and neck tumours. He completed the prestigious ACGME-accredited Sleep Medicine and Surgery Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania's Division of Sleep Medicine and Otolaryngology Sleep Surgery Division in Philadelphia, USA in 2024. This fellowship placed him among a highly select group of ENT specialists worldwide with dual expertise in managing medical sleep disorders and performing advanced sleep surgeries, including soft tissue, neurostimulation, and skeletal procedures.
Dr Soh serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at both the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is also a Physician Faculty member for the Otorhinolaryngology Residency Programme under the National Healthcare Group in Singapore.
As a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the International Sleep Surgery Society, Dr Soh has contributed to his field through peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and invited lectures at global symposiums. He serves as a reviewer for international journals and is recognised as a rising expert in sleep health.
Dr Soh believes in a holistic and individualised approach to treating sleep apnoea, addressing both the mechanical aspects and complex physiology of the airway. He emphasises understanding each patient's unique anatomical and functional factors to optimise outcomes while promoting overall sleep health, providing evidence-based, compassionate, and patient-centred care.
