Dr Kimberley received her MBChB undergraduate degree at the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. She underwent her Basic Surgical Training in Oxford Deanery, and completed her ENT Specialty Training in South Yorkshire, UK. During her specialist training years, she was awarded the Sri Iyer Surgical Trainee of the Year award, Sir Ernest Finch Travelling Fellowship Award, the CWJ Travelling Fellowship as well as the Ear Aid Nepal Scholarship. After completing her specialty training in 2021, she was awarded the prestigious Graham Fraser Memorial Fellowship in Otology and completed her Cochlear Implantation Fellowship in Sydney, Australia in 2022. She is currently registered with both the Singapore Medical Council and the General Medical Council (UK) as a specialist in Otolaryngology.​ Dr Kimberley is well-published in numerous international peer-reviewed journals and has previously presented her research at multiple international conferences. She was awarded the Journal of Laryngology and Otology Best Paper Prize in 2022 for her article regarding age-related hearing loss and mild cognitive impairment.​ ​
