Dr Alexander Tan is an Interventional Radiologist with Singapore's largest IR centre, Singapore General Hospital and provides cluster service to Sengkang General Hospital.

An alumnus of the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and SingHealth Diagnostic Radiology Residency Programme, he completed fellowship training in interventional MRI in Strasbourg, France and Munich, Germany in 2024.

His special interest lies in interventional oncology (biopsy, ablation, pain management) although he also routinely provides endovascular treatment (vascular access, angioplasty, thrombectomy/thrombolysis, embolisation).
